Hello 08 !first, let me bring you through the time machine and show you what has happened last year.
lol.
last year sunday we had a BBQ at grandma's garden.
so many cousins, so many kids,
so many people, so many friends,
so much noise, so much food.
so much fun, so much LOVE.
and i got home at 1am ++
reported t work the next morning!
it was shuying's last day of work,
ferps and i gave her a farewell gift.

it feels mundane,
doing the same thing repeatedly,
until colleagues started saying
"today's half day, everyone is HAPPY!"
"hi, HAPPY NEW YEAR! "
"see you next year !"
and all.
it lightened up everyone's feeling at that point of time =)
then i realised, yeah.. today's the 31st.
tmr is another year.
yeah...
true..
*enlightened*
hah.
went for lunch w mui at Han's
we were saying how different it is this year.
remember how we used t feel young and energetic, making sure we are present at EVERY festive seasons, taking part in ALL the fun events?
this time its different.
this christmas instead of partying like all others are doing in town,
all we asked for is "to be in a quiet corner."
because it has alrd been done the previous year,
and the year before previous.
and all the years in our teens.
even birthdays doesnt interest us anymore.
hers is in five days time,
mines in a months time.
yet,
we feel nothing.
the issue here is no longer "who should i go w next?"
it is a matter of " do i wanna join em?"
and why's that?
all for the reason "those things are for the youngsters!"
even our conversation over lunch was about driving! (yes, im taking up driving)
OH MANZ.
aint we turning OLD ?!
this is freaky.
then, as i was walking home, two girls walked past, i overheard their conversation : "
renfu from 5566 is handsome !"
knw whats my immediate response t that?
i let out a gentle smile thinking how childish that sentence was.
but after some thoughts,
dont i used t do that too?
discussing the latest hottie,
gossiping about how irritating certain celebrities are,
which are the TOP TEN handsome singers,
and brainless stuffs like this.
so yes, this is another prove t my getting on in years.
OHMYGOD.
got home and did up my cabinet for four hours.
the 1st shelf has : medals won in Taekwondo tournaments.
second shelf carries : accesories such as necklaces, bracelets etc.
third shelf : a display of my collection of watches.
and the last shelf is : FULL OF HELLO KITTIES !!!!!! =DDDDDD
thats my favourite corner. muahah.
then somethg not quite pleasant took place.
and it was night.
guess what was i doing while everyone was sending me smses and ringing my phone?
I WAS SLEEPING.
at few more minutes t 2008.
counting down simply doesnt interest me anymore,
sisters slept at 3am while i was alrd snoring away.
hahah.
i swear im behaving every way like a senior citizen!
it is said that the Super Reds will be returning today.
how true is that statement? we do not knw.
